Toronto, Ontario (October 15, 2024)QA Consultants’ Chief Performance Officer James Pulley and Chief Quality Officer Brian Bernknopf will deliver a live webinar to a national audience on October 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM ET for eCommerce brands preparing for the biggest sale event of the year – Black Friday.

When each website outage costs brands an average of $300,000 per hour, eCommerce website performance has a lot at stake. This 45-minute session, “Avoiding Disaster: The Ultimate Webinar to Survive Black Friday Website Crashes,” will provide strategies, best practices, tools, and lessons learned for retailers to make last-minute improvements with their websites to prevent website crashes, cart abandonment, slow load times, lost revenue, consumer attrition, and more before the sales rush. Airing 10 days before the official kickoff for Black Friday sales (November 1) and the rush to dominate the holiday shopping season, the timely, can’t-miss content has real-world applications retailers can and should implement immediately to prevent costly and embarrassing website outages.

With more than three decades of experience leading performance strategy for corporations and consulting agencies of all sizes, including such companies as Microsoft, Mercury Interactive, and TEKsystems, James manages the growth and performance of the performance engineering practice. His responsibilities include client management and staff development, as well as developing new solutions to help clients identify performance improvements well beyond the scope of performance testing.
