Toronto, Ontario – QA Consultants’ Chief Operating Officer Peter Watkins is speaking during MAPLE Business Council’s Ontario Spring Reception on March 20. Peter will spotlight cross-border success stories, challenges, and insights for companies expanding into the United States as the event’s only case study presentation. Today, 50 percent of QA Consultants’ revenue comes from the United States and was acquired by the ALTEN Group in March 2023.

One of the core contributors of QA Consultants’ success is its commitment to quality and the client experience, which are at the root of Peter’s role — ensuring clients’ expectations are continually exceeded and workforce and operational standards are continually improving.

Peter is one of several esteemed speakers from prominent organizations, including Cassels Brock and Blackwell, LLP, RSM Canada, Export Development Canada, US Consulate General in Toronto, Sterling Brokers, Communitech Outposts.

“I am excited to participate in MAPLE’s Spring Reception as one of several speakers invited to share best practices and success strategies for growing business across the border into the United States,” stated Peter Watkins. “I’m eager to learn about other organizational success expanding into the United States and potentially apply their strategies.”

Peter has a long and tenured career working for internationally recognized brands, including serving as executive vice president and chief technology officer for the McGraw-Hill companies, executive vice president and chief information officer for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Canada, global leader for Financial Services for EDS, and national practice director for information technology for E&Y. He is the current president of the World Confederation of Productivity Science (WCPS) and past president of the International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) Canadian Chapter and Board Member. Peter has been awarded fellow of the World Association of Productivity Science for contributions to productivity science.
