Cadillac Fairview Automation Solution
Abstract
Cadillac Fairview wanted to increase coverage of existing manual test cases by supplementing them with automation. This would allow their manual testing resources to focus on new feature testing, complex testing scenarios, and specific cases of the regression suite that automation would not be handling.

The Challenge
The manual testing team was having difficulty testing new features and executing the regression suite concurrently. It was a challenge to test on real devices in order to closely mock production and real user interactions, while recording every session. Previous reports were not centralized and were difficult to locate.
The Solution
A set of hardware and software were specifically tailored to Cadillac Fairview’s automation needs. This consisted of a partial cloud-based solution with a miniature mobile testing lab. Another cloud-based component became the primary form of communication for the testing team.
