Analytics 4 Life (A4L) chose QA Consultants to design and execute testing in the following areas: API testing, performance scripts to validate load and standard response time, security testing to uncover flaws in the system that could compromise data and functionality, and compatibility and accessibility testing to validate functionality and compliance to ADA standards.
The Challenge
The A4L team needed a partner with strong testing expertise. They were not accustomed to communicating their internal process standards to vendors they hadn’t previously used, which brought about challenges with documentation standards, internal reviews, use of tools, and process standards. As accessibility testing was new for A4L, QAC provided expertise in this area. QAC also delivered training on the usage of test management and project management tools Jira and Zephyr.
The Solution
A comprehensive set of tools were recommended and introduced to the A4L team to manage the project. The QAC team managed deliverables to satisfy FDA requirements. They tested 27 web services and designed 700 test cases, which were automated using SAOP UI, a web service testing application.
